Prof. (Dr.) Jaya Bandyopadhyay is a Professor of the Department of Biotechnology at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in West Bengal. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, she has been associated with the department since its establishment in 2002. Her research interests include Cell Biology & Molecular Development, Nanoscience, Precision Medicine in Cancer, Neurotoxicology, and related subjects. She obtained her Ph.D. in 1995 from Visva Bharati University and pursued post-doctoral training in South Korea for over five years. She has also worked as a Visiting Scholar in Korean institutions and as a CSIR Senior Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology. Prof. Bandyopadhyay has supervised many students and has numerous publications and book chapters to her credit. In addition to her academic contributions, she has actively served in various administrative roles within the university.
